The operation of the robot is quite simple with only 3 steps. Step 1, the child steps on the robot to check-in via facial recognition, and measure the weight and height. Step 2, the child raises the hands to check the hand herpes. Step 3, the child opens the mouth toward to the camera to check the herpes erythema of mouth, and the temperature sensing module checks the child’s temperature at the same time. All the examinations can be done within only 10s without any physical contact which greatly reduce the potential of cross infection. The examination report can be uploaded to the related epidemic prevention departments in real time which plays an essential role for the disease control. KANKAN AI Xiaohu physical examination robot is going to be delivered to 100 kindergartens in Hangzhou with 40,000 children and 60,000 parents in 2020.
